Eugene officials report record ridership for PeaceHealth Rides bike share
Eugene, OR – The City of Eugene’s bike share program, PeaceHealth Rides, saw its best year ever in 2025, reporting a 40% increase in ridership compared to the previous year. The program is owned by the city and operated in partnership with the local non-profit Cascadia Mobility.
The significant jump in usage highlights the effectiveness of investments in bike infrastructure, rider education, and community encouragement. According to city officials, the growth demonstrates the increasing popularity of two-wheeled transit options as a convenient and environmentally friendly way to get around Eugene.
Cascadia Mobility recently published its annual report, detailing the organization’s work in promoting cycling and accessibility throughout the community. Residents who haven’t yet tried the service can sign up at peacehealthrides.com.
City leaders thanked all riders for making 2025 a record-breaking year and said they remain committed to supporting sustainable transportation programs that benefit Eugene’s residents and environment.
