ESF crews were actively engaged in multiple emergency responses across the area on a busy day for the department
Eugene, OR – According to the officials, in Springfield, crews were on the scene of a mobile home fire on 32nd St.
The fire’s cause and extent of damage have yet to be determined, but firefighters worked diligently to contain the blaze and ensure the safety of nearby residents.
Simultaneously, firefighters were involved in two water rescues.
One occurred on the Willamette River at Clearwater, and the other in the Coast Fork of the Willamette. Both operations required swift action to ensure the safety of individuals in the water.
Earlier in the afternoon, around 2 PM, crews responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Northwest Expressway and Maxwell.
The collision caused severe damage to the vehicles involved. One patient was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
