Governor Kotek accepting applications for Clackamas County Circuit Court judicial vacancy
Oregon – Governor Tina Kotek announced that she is accepting applications for a judicial vacancy on the Clackamas County Circuit Court, created by the passage of SB 95, which she signed into law on July 24, 2025.
Applicants for the new position must submit completed forms via email to Shevaun Gutridge at [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Applications should be addressed to Richard A. Lane, General Counsel, Office of the Governor. Mail or hand-delivered submissions will not be accepted.
The Governor fills judicial vacancies based on merit and encourages applications from lawyers with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens, residents of Oregon, and members of the Oregon State Bar at the time of appointment.
Additionally, applicants must reside in or have a principal office in the judicial district or an adjacent district, as required under ORS 3.041 and 3.050.
