ESF crews contain hopper fire at Swanson Mill in Springfield
Eugene, OR – Fire crews responded to a hopper fire at Swanson Mill in Springfield, where the blaze was contained and brought under control, Eugene Springfield Fire said.
Crews were working at the mill in the 1600 block of South F Street.
Although the fire was under control, firefighters remained at the scene alongside mill staff to ensure all remaining embers were extinguished.
No additional information about injuries or damage was provided.
