EPD’s chief reflects on peaceful No Kings march and protest in downtown Eugene
Eugene, OR –
The Eugene Police Department reported that Saturday’s No Kings march and protest in downtown Eugene proceeded peacefully, with participants expressing their views respectfully.
EPD officers helped ensure the safety of everyone along the route and throughout the event.
The department expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the community and event organizers, which contributed to the successful and safe day.
Chief Skinner shared his reflections on the event’s importance in fostering respectful dialogue and maintaining safety at public gatherings in a short video message.
