Eugene Springfield Fire crews return from wildfire deployment in Oregon
Eugene, OR – Several members of Eugene Springfield Fire have returned home after assisting with wildfire response efforts in Oregon.
The department announced that Engine 91, Brush 8, and Brush 9 had returned from their deployment to the East Evans Creek Fire.
While those crews have returned, three Eugene Springfield Fire members remain deployed as part of an incident management team assigned to the Rowe Creek Complex in eastern Oregon.
The department did not provide additional details about the length of the deployments or the specific roles crews performed while assisting with wildfire operations.
Eugene Springfield Fire regularly sends personnel and resources to support wildfire responses throughout the region, working alongside other agencies to help protect communities affected by fire activity.
Officials thanked the firefighters who deployed and those who continue supporting ongoing wildfire operations in Oregon.
