Eugene Public Works and Parks teams respond to flooding, tree hazards following heavy rain

Eugene, OR – The City of Eugene’s Public Works Maintenance and Parks and Open Space teams are actively addressing reports of localized flooding and tree hazards throughout the city.

Wastewater staff are also on-site, managing and adjusting to mitigate high flow rates.

Amazon Creek remains elevated as rain continues through Sunday.

Residents are urged to avoid flooded areas in Alton Baker Park, Delta Ponds, and along the Fern Ridge Path.

Community members are encouraged to report flooding or tree hazards in the public right of way by contacting the non-emergency police number at 541-682-5111.
