Eugene Police Department arrests man in City Nights shooting

Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, Desmond Boris Washington, 39, has been arrested in connection with the December 8 shooting at City Nights.
He is currently held at the Lane County Jail on charges including Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Tampering with Evidence.
Previous Information: At 2:02 a.m. on December 8, Eugene Police Patrol responded to shots fired at City Nights, 77 W. Broadway.
Initial reports indicated a suspect fired inside the bar, striking two patrons—one with critical injuries, the other treated and released. EPD’s investigation is ongoing.
