Eugene opens proposals for affordable housing projects with $709,879 in funding
Eugene, OR – The City of Eugene is accepting proposals for new affordable housing projects funded by $709,879 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF). The submission deadline for applications is March 5, 2025.
The AHTF, supported by a 0.5% construction excise tax and the City’s General Fund, aims to address housing needs for low- and moderate-income residents. Past investments include Rosa Village, The Lucy, and Williams Place, providing housing for diverse community needs.
This year’s funding prioritizes projects within Eugene city limits, offering at least four dwellings, and meeting affordability criteria. Proposals with innovative designs, accessibility features, and a focus on underserved areas or populations will receive preference.
Interested applicants must submit a letter of interest by February 5, 2025.
