Eugene Police announced they successfully identified the woman previously known as “Jane Doe” following an outpouring of support from concerned community members

Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, her photo has since been removed from all public notices. Authorities extended their gratitude to everyone who reached out to assist in the identification.
The call for help began on October 17, when police arrested the woman for trespassing in the 100 block of W. 11th Avenue.
She was booked into the Lane County Jail without identification and appeared to be homeless and possibly experiencing a mental health crisis.
Authorities sought the public’s assistance to identify her, as she would likely require support and services upon release.
Initially, the woman, who described herself as “Lux Jupiter,” provided no verifiable information.
Police were unable to confirm her identity through fingerprint records or other sources. She was described as a white woman with shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes.
