The Eugene City Manager is accepting applications for the Public Health and Environmental Professional technical representative seats on the Review Panel for the Multi-Unit Property Tax Exemption program

Eugene, OR – According to the city officials, the panel provided a third-party review of the MUPTE program for the City Manager and met as needed to review new MUPTE applications, assess previously approved projects’ compliance with MUPTE requirements, prepare annual reports on the progress of approved projects, track the program’s volume cap, and evaluate overall program efficacy.

Comprising neighborhood representatives selected by neighborhood association boards and six technical members chosen by the City Manager, the panel included an Architect, Developer, Human Rights representative, and Building Trades representative.

Members served three-year terms with the opportunity for renewal.

The deadline to apply for the panel was Friday, September 27, 2024.

Interested individuals were encouraged to submit a statement of interest and provide evidence of technical expertise in public health or environmental sciences.
