The Eugene Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit investigating homicide on E. 14th Avenue

Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, this incident occurred right before 11 p.m. late Saturday night.
It happened in the 300 block of E. 14th Avenue.
The incident prompted a significant response from EPD Patrol, with the Violent Crimes Unit and Forensic Evidence Unit arriving on the scene to conduct a thorough investigation, which remains in its early stages.
During the incident, a vehicle without lights on left the area, leading to a police pursuit.
A juvenile was detained in the Kinsrow area, and police are still determining if there is any connection to the homicide on E. 14th Avenue.
