Day 2 of the Young Women’s Fire Camp was filled with intense and empowering activities, showcasing the determination and resilience of the participants

Eugene, OR – According to the officials, the day reportedly began with advanced Emergency Medical Services (EMS) skills training, including intubation and airway management.
The young women then moved on to hands-on exercises such as cutting apart cars, running up and down the drill tower, breaching doors, and conducting an active violent incident drill.
Throughout the day, the campers also practiced backboarding patients, hitting the Keizer sleds with all their strength, dragging hoses, and more, all while enduring the warm sunshine in full turnout gear.
Despite the physical demands, the participants tackled every challenge head-on, displaying remarkable teamwork and enthusiasm.
The sense of camaraderie was palpable as the young women encouraged and supported one another, building each other up with every task. Their unwavering spirit and dedication were a source of immense pride for the camp organizers.
