The City of Eugene Cultural Services will unveil four new exhibition spaces dedicated to public art in the downtown area this summer and fall, officials say

Eugene, OR – As part of the new City Exhibitions initiative, these spaces have been secured for long-term use, providing regional artists and arts organizations with venues to showcase their work.

The installations will rotate throughout the year, aiming to deliver impactful artistic experiences in the urban environment, strengthen creative networks, and increase paid opportunities for artists and curators.

The first of these new spaces, Emerge Exhibitions, is now open to the public. Located in the south windows of the Atrium building at 99 W. 10th Ave., this venue continues the legacy of the City’s former Windowfront Exhibitions program by transforming street-facing windows into interactive works of art.

Exhibitions at this location will specifically support new and emerging artists.

The Cultural Services Public Art team will guide aspiring artists through all phases of showcasing their artwork, including conceptual design, installation, and writing about their art practice.
