City of Eugene Juneteenth Holiday Schedule for Wednesday, June 19, 2024

Eugene, OR – The City of Eugene announces holiday schedules and closures for Juneteenth National Independence Day on Wednesday, June 19.
Here are the details:
**Administrative Offices**
– All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed.
**Library, Recreation, and Cultural Services**
– **Eugene Public Library**: All locations and outside return slots will be closed.
– **Community Centers**: All locations will be closed.
– **Pools**:
– **Amazon Pool**: Open on a holiday schedule with rec swim from 2-4:30 p.m., and lap swim and on-your-own fitness from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
– **Echo Hollow Pool**: Open on a holiday schedule with rec swim from 1:45-4:30 p.m., and lap swim and on-your-own fitness from 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
– **Sheldon Pool**: Open on a holiday schedule with lap swim and on-your-own fitness from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
**Police, Fire, Medical, and Other Emergency Services**
– Police, fire, medical, and other emergency services will operate as usual.
– The main police station on Country Club Road is open year-round.
– The Downtown Public Safety Station will be open, and Downtown Officers will be on duty.
– Fire & EMS Administration offices, including Ambulance Billing, will be closed.
**Parking**
– City-managed parking garages, surface lots, and on-street meters will be free, except for the train depot surface lot.
– On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena will be enforced as per posted signs.
**Public Works**
– No City street repair projects will be conducted. Essential health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue uninterrupted.
**Airport**

**Spay and Neuter Clinic**
– The clinic will be closed.
All City offices and facilities will resume regular hours on Thursday, June 20, unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Independence Day on Thursday, July 4.
