Eugene, OR – City officials released a statement saying, that in 2019, the City Council established Eugene’s CET as a dedicated revenue stream for the AHTF, collecting 0.5% on the construction of new structures and additions to existing structures in Eugene.

Over the past three years, the CET has generated $3.3 million for local Affordable Housing developments and services.

The City has also contributed $2 million to the AHTF.

Since its creation, the AHTF has supported outcomes to increase affordable housing options for lower-income community members.

These efforts align with City housing goals outlined in the Housing Implementation Pipeline, a framework adopted by the City Council in 2022.
