The Oregon Health Authority on Thursday reported 621 new confirmed cases of COVID-19

OREGON – Unfortunately, the Oregon Health Authority reported 12 more COVID-19 related deaths as well.
Oregon Health & Science University chose to cancel vaccination appointments this weekend for up to 4,500 seniors 80 and older who were lucky enough to book in the first days since becoming eligible.
Operators of the Portland area’s other mass vaccination site, the Oregon Convention Center, said they are closely watching forecasts but aren’t currently planning to postpone or cancel appointments.
They plan to clear nearby sidewalks of snow and ice, though they cautioned that late openings or early closures were possible.
