The Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce encourages residents to support small businesses by shopping locally
Chamber CEO and President Brittany Quick-Warner said you can shop online at many local establishments.
And, the governor’s 2-week freeze allows in-person retail at reduced capacity.
“If you’re comfortable safely shopping somewhere local we really encourage folks to do that this year.
And always.” Quick-Warner said. “But specifically this year, it feels like there is something you can tangibly do to support our local economy, and It’s that.
Warner said with holiday celebrations scaled back, supporting local restaurants with take-out is also a good idea. Many are offering special holiday family meals and baked goods.
