Louisiana man taken to hospital after car goes up in flames on I-5 in Oregon
Medics took a 51-year-old Louisiana man to the hospital for smoke inhalation after his car went up in flames on Interstate 5 early Wednesday morning.
The Nissan Altima caught fire near Milepost 199, Oregon State Police said.
The Coburg Fire Department responded and put out the fire.
The driver from Baton Rouge told a state trooper that “his vehicle’s wiring caused the fire. He was transported to Riverbend Hospital by ambulance for smoke inhalation.”
