Police Identify Driver In Fatal Hit-And-Run
Police on Wednesday identified the person who they say hit and killed a man in Eugene last week.
The involved driver is Loren Imponen, 44, of Eugene, police said.
Pedestrian Andrew Cordin, 29, of Eugene was hit overnight between May 21 and 22 on the 400 block of Bertelsen Road.
Police said Imponen contacted officials at about 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, and is cooperating with investigators.
