Eugene Springfield Fire visits preschool students at Family Co-Op Center

Eugene, OR – Last week, Eugene Springfield Fire crews visited preschool students at the Family Co-Op Center to help familiarize them with emergency responders.
Firefighters demonstrated their turnout gear and air packs, showed the children the equipment on a fire engine, and spent time engaging with the students.
The visit aimed to help young children understand what to expect during emergencies and reduce fear in high-stress situations.
Crews appreciated the opportunity to connect with the students and thanked Sarah for the invitation to spend time with the classes.
