Eugene police investigating shooting near 23rd Avenue and Willamette Street
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of 23rd Avenue and Willamette Street.
Officers responded to the scene at 3:11 p.m. after reports of gunfire involving individuals who were acquainted with each other.
One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Eugene Police Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating the incident.
Authorities have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
