Oregon State Police return to Capitol Mall offices after renovations
Oregon – Oregon State Police troopers recently had a rare, close-up view of the state’s iconic Gold Man as scaffolding came down during the final stages of seismic upgrades and renovations to the Capitol building.
After three years working from temporary locations, the patrol team returned to their Capitol Mall offices.
The Capitol Mall Patrol Office provides law enforcement coverage for state buildings in downtown Salem and the surrounding area.
Troopers welcomed the return and encouraged the public to stop by and say hello at the Capitol.
