Eugene Springfield Fire contains brush fire on Forsythia
Eugene, OR – Just after 9:30 p.m. on June 5, Eugene Springfield Fire (ESF) responded to a brush fire in the 5200 block of Forsythia in Springfield.
The fire burned a 20-foot section of fence along with several trees and bamboo but did not spread to any nearby structures.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, preventing further damage.
No injuries were reported.
Authorities remind residents to remain vigilant during dry conditions to reduce the risk of wildfires.
