Eugene Springfield Fire quickly contains grass fire near Meadowlark Prairie bike path
Eugene, OR – Just before 6 p.m. on June 7, Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a slow-moving grass fire near the bike path in West Eugene’s Meadowlark Prairie.
Firefighters were able to promptly access the area and swiftly bring the fire under control, preventing it from spreading further.
No injuries or significant damage were reported, and officials continue to remind the public to stay cautious during dry conditions to help prevent wildfires.
