Eugene Police Department welcomes new 911 telecommunicators after rigorous training
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department proudly announced the addition of the newest graduates from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training Basic Telecommunicator program to their Central Lane Communications team.
These individuals have completed a demanding training course that prepares them to serve as 911 call takers for the City of Eugene.
Among the graduates, one standout received the Carol Fagan Academic Achievement Award, recognizing exceptional performance throughout the program.
The department highlighted the graduates’ dedication to public service, as well as their strong communication and problem-solving skills. Officials expressed excitement about the contributions these new telecommunicators will make toward community safety.
The Eugene Police Department invited the public to join in congratulating and welcoming the newest members of their emergency communications team.
