Eugene police arrest 42-year-old man after finding more than 360 grams of suspected methamphetamine

Eugene, OR – A 42-year-old man was arrested in Eugene after police discovered more than 360 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with substances believed to be fentanyl and cocaine, during a vehicle search Thursday.

Officers responded at approximately 11:32 a.m. on November 5 to assist Parole and Probation officers with a contact at the O Bar on Commons Drive.

Police said the vehicle was associated with Lawrence Malcolm Lee, who was contacted inside the business and placed in handcuffs.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located scales, packaging materials, more than $500 in cash and several suspected controlled substances.

The substances included a white material believed to be fentanyl, a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and another white substance believed to be cocaine. Officers also found a plastic vial labeled as methadone that had been prescribed to another person.

The suspected methamphetamine weighed more than 360 grams, according to Eugene police.

Lee was arrested and booked into the Lane County Jail on a parole and probation violation, as well as charges of delivery and possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of methadone, possession of fentanyl and delivery of fentanyl.
