House fire spreads to neighboring homes in north Eugene, no injuries reported

Eugene, OR – Firefighters with Eugene Springfield Fire responded early Friday morning to a house fire in the 1300 block of David Avenue in north Eugene.

Crews arriving on scene reported a large volume of fire in an outbuilding that quickly spread to the main residence and a neighboring home.

Due to the intensity of the fire and initial reports suggesting possible victims, a second alarm was requested to bring additional resources to the scene.

Officials later confirmed that no victims were located and no injuries were reported. Fire crews were able to bring the fire under control, and the incident was contained.

The cause of the fire has not been released, and investigators are expected to continue examining the scene.
