Eugene Police Department hosts successful Citizen’s Police Academy

Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department is currently hosting its highly anticipated Citizen’s Police Academy, offering participants a unique, behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement work in the community.
The academy allows attendees to engage directly with officers and learn about various aspects of policing, including investigations, traffic stops, defensive tactics, and more.
Participants have shown great enthusiasm and curiosity as they delve deeper into the realities of public safety in Eugene, gaining firsthand experience of what it takes to serve and protect the community.
