Oregon DEQ issues $166,932 in penalties for environmental violations
Oregon – The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) issued six penalties totaling $166,932 in January for various environmental violations. These fines ranged from $2,800 to $111,175 and were assessed for issues including violations related to underground storage tanks, stormwater management, and air quality reporting.
The organizations receiving penalties include:
– AMA Mini Mart Inc., Klamath Falls: $111,175 for underground storage tank violations
– N & S Oil LLC, Portland: $6,617 for underground storage tank violations
– Providence Portland Medical Center, Portland: $3,800 for failure to submit timely air quality report
– Purcell Tire NW Inc., Portland: $5,916 for stormwater violations
– Reinard Pollmann, Reedsport: $36,624 for underground storage tank violations
– STACK Infrastructure Inc., Hillsboro: $2,800 for air quality permitting violations
