Eugene Springfield Fire responds to RV fire in Glenwood neighborhood, one person evaluated for burns
Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to an RV fire in the Glenwood neighborhood of Springfield at 1:53 AM on January 23rd.
Upon arrival in the 1600 block of Henderson Ave, Engine 13 from the University Station found the RV fully engulfed in flames, with fire threatening nearby power lines and a 5th wheel.
Two people and a pet were inside the RV when the fire started.
One person was evaluated for minor burns but was not transported, while the other was uninjured.
The pet is believed to have perished in the fire.
Due to the intensity of the fire and its proximity to other structures, additional resources were called to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
