Diaper donation drive to support Lane County Diaper Bank in February
Eugene, OR – For the month of February, the community is invited to support Lane County Diaper Bank (LCDB) by donating diapers to help local families in need. With diaper costs ranging from $80 to $100 per month per child, many families struggle to afford this basic necessity. Unfortunately, diapers are not covered by government programs like SNAP or WIC, making it an even greater burden.
National studies show that 1 in 3 families experience diaper need, an issue that often goes unnoticed. By donating, you can help LCDB bridge the diaper gap and provide essential support to families in our area.
Donations can be made through the LCDB wish list on Walmart.com, where items can be delivered directly to the diaper bank. Alternatively, diapers can be dropped off at the ESF Admin building at 1705 W 2nd Ave, Eugene, OR 97402.
