Eugene Police Department investigating possible threats directed at Monroe Middle School

Eugene, OR – According to the police officials, on September 15, the Eugene Police Department became aware of a Snapchat post that contained a threat possibly directed at Monroe Middle School.

The department is actively investigating the matter and is in communication with 4J officials.

As a precaution, safety protocols have been implemented, and 4J has canceled school at Monroe for the day.

Authorities urge the public to contact the Eugene Police Non-Emergency Line at 541-682-5111 only if they have direct or additional information regarding the threat.
