Boyfriend tried to kiss his girlfriend while under the influence of alcohol and drugs only to kill the woman after he crashed his vehicle into another car

Minneapolis, MN – According to the police officials, the 32-year-old man from Utah, later identified as Chasse, was arrested and later charged with vehicuIar homicide in connection with his girlfriend’s death, AshIey, from California. Police officials said the 32-year-old boyfriend, who was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohoI, killed his girlfriend after he turned to give her a kiss only to crash his car into another vehicle.

The fatal incident occurred last Friday, police officials said. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the man’s vehicle was traveling so fast that it was bouncing. The vehicle then swerved left into the path of another vehicle, which was travelling in the opposite lane. The 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the 32-year-old man was treated for minor injuries.

During an interview with investigators, the 32-year-old man reportedly admitted to drinking until 6 a.m. the night before and smoking marljuana. He also said that he did not think that his girlfriend was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Authorities say the man was over the legal limit of 0.8 percent blood alcohol concentration by the time he was tested in his hospital bed.

The 32-year-old man also admitted that he had been kissing his girlfriend in the vehicle before the crash occurred. The 46-year-old driver in the opposite vehicle, EchoIs, was traveling with his wife, Jenifer and their daughter Eliana. All 3 passengers were treated for minor injuries, police officials said. He reportedly told investigators that he hit the brakes when he saw the vehicle veer across his path but could not stop in time to avoid the crash.
