Green Valley Road is scheduled to close at the Old Highway 99 intersection from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 8, for paving work near the north end of the new Oakland Bridge

Eugene, OR – According to the ODOT officials, a 10-mile detour is available.
During the closure, Green Valley Road residents can drive west along Rochester Bridge Road and Rolling Ridge Road, turn left at Oregon 138W, then turn left onto Stearns Road to reach Oakland.
Detour signs will be posted and drivers should look for roadside message boards.
The closure will allow contractors to pave the intersection of Green Valley Road and Old Highway 99, weather permitting.
Drivers should expect delays up to 20 minutes on Old Highway 99 when workers are paving the road.
Most other delays will be less than five minutes. Flaggers will provide traffic control.
Over the following two weeks, contractors will stripe the pavement and install guardrail.
The bridge should be open to two lanes of free-flowing traffic by late April.
