The Oregon Health Authority reported 411 new cases of COVID-19
Eugene, OR – According to the report, 1 COVID-19 related death, raising the state’s coronavirus death toll to 2,138.
The new numbers come as testing and vaccination efforts continue to be affected by the weekend’s icy conditions, as fewer than 7,600 inoculations were given in recent days — about half the usual amount.
A little over 8,000 COVID test results were reported.
The vaccinations sites at the Oregon Convention Center and Portland International Airport were closed over the weekend due to the weather, causing thousands of appointments to be rescheduled, but have since reopened.
