Structure fire damages home on Dillard Road in south Eugene, prompting emergency response
Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire reported a busy afternoon as crews were stretched thin responding to several simultaneous emergencies.
Among the incidents was a house fire in the 4000 block of Dillard Road in South Eugene, a brush fire near the intersection of River Road and Beacon Drive, and a water rescue call.
In addition to these major incidents, firefighters handled multiple other calls for service throughout the area, demonstrating the demanding nature of their workload.
