Father claims his child became unresponsive after falling from a tabIe after using a chair to gain access, and had already fallen off on several occasions in the past, after he beat the child to death

Boston, MA – According to the police officials, the 34-year-old man, later identified as Francisko, was arrested and later charged with multiple charges, including assault and battery on a child with substantial injury, permitting substantial injury to a child, permitting injury to a child and other charges after he reportedly beat his child to death. The 4-year-old girl, AzeIIa, was beaten to death, police officials said. The 34-year-old dad pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The fatal incident occurred earlier this month at the father’s apartment. The father, who had sole custody and is the full time care giver of the victim and her two siblings, 2 and 6, called 911 and told the dispatcher that his child fell ont he floor and was not breathing. First responders rushed the child to the hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. The responding officers made contact with the father, who reportedly told them that the child fell from the table.
The father even said the girl fell off the table on several occasions in the past and used a chair to climb on the table. The medical staff told investigators that the child had visible injuries all over her body consistent of physical abuse. The responding officers also found two other children int he home, who also had bruises all over their body. Both children, 2 and 6, appeared to be malnourished and dehydrated.
According to the police officials, the responding officers stated that the child had f-ces on her body and was bleeding from her mouth. The medical examiner told investigators that the child’s injuries were consistent with a fall from a two-story height, not from a kitchen tabIe. The child had injuries on her neck, arms, abdomen, knees, lower legs and back. The child also suffered a skuII fracture, police officials said. The father’s next court appearance is scheduled for next month, court records say.
