Eugene Police Department invites community to National Night Out at PK Park
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department is inviting the community to join them at PK Park on August 3 for National Night Out, a nationwide initiative aimed at strengthening police-community relationships.
According to a post from the department, gates will open at noon, with activities beginning at 1:05 p.m.
The department described the event as a “buddy cop adventure,” highlighting free fun, cool police gear, games, music, and opportunities for community connection.
In a light-hearted tone, the Eugene Police emphasized that there would be no explosions, but plenty of family-friendly activities.
They encouraged residents to bring their families, meet local officers, and take part in what they called “the most feel-good cop movie of the summer—starring you and your neighbors.”
The event is free and open to the public. No additional registration details were included in the announcement.
