Driver escapes injury after vehicle fire in crash at 18th and Monroe
Eugene, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to a motor vehicle accident at 18th Avenue and Monroe Street in Eugene that resulted in a vehicle catching fire.
Engine 1 and Battalion 1 arrived on scene along with Eugene Police Department officers.
Fire officials said the driver was able to get out of the vehicle on their own and declined medical treatment.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and worked with police to clear the scene.
No injuries were reported.
