Eugene Springfield Fire announces promotions to engineer and captain
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Springfield Fire announced the promotion of several firefighters to the ranks of engineer and captain as part of ongoing promotion ceremonies within the department.
According to officials, the newly promoted personnel will be assigned across four shifts and 16 stations throughout the department.
The promotions mark the beginning of new leadership roles and responsibilities for the firefighters as they continue their professional development.
Department leaders said the focus moving forward will be on continued professional growth and strengthening teamwork within each crew.
Officials expressed their support for the newly promoted engineers and captains as they take on their expanded roles within the department.
