Community urged to donate hoodies for high schoolers before December 31
Eugene, OR – As temperatures continue to drop, the community is invited to embrace the spirit of giving by helping high school-aged kids stay warm this winter. The Eugene Police Department is spearheading a hoodie drive, urging residents to donate gently used or new hoodies by December 31.
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
– **300 Country Club Rd.**
– **960 Olive St.**
For those seeking a convenient alternative, gift cards are also being accepted to purchase hoodies. These can be sent directly to the Eugene Police Department, addressed to:
**Community Engagement Supervisor, Cherie Nelson**
**300 Country Club Rd. Eugene, OR 97401**
The initiative seeks to ensure teenagers in the community have access to warm clothing during the colder months. Contributions will not only provide physical warmth but also serve as a reminder of the community’s collective care and support.
Residents are encouraged to clean out their closets or purchase new items to make a meaningful impact. Together, the community can ensure local teens remain both snug and stylish this winter season.
