Oregon – Governor Tina Kotek has submitted a list of appointments for state boards and commissions to the Oregon Senate, where nominees will be reviewed by the Senate Committee on Rules during June Legislative Days.

The nominations are part of a broader process in which the Governor appoints members to more than 265 boards and commissions across Oregon, covering major policy areas including health care, education, economic development, consumer protection, and environmental conservation.

According to the Governor’s office, these boards and commissions play a key role in shaping statewide policy and supporting decision-making within state agencies and departments. Many of the positions are volunteer-based and involve advising on issues that impact residents across Oregon.

The state emphasized that the appointments are intended to reflect the diversity of Oregon’s population, with officials stating that a broad range of perspectives helps guide public policy decisions.

Information on the full list of nominees has been made available through official state channels, and the Senate Committee on Rules will consider the confirmations during the upcoming legislative session.

The Governor’s office also noted that residents interested in serving on boards and commissions can apply year-round through the state’s application system, which includes both new applicants and current members seeking reappointment.

More information about Oregon boards and commissions, including application instructions and eligibility requirements, is available through the state’s official website.
