Man arrested for DUII and reckless driving after incident on Harlow Road
Eugene, OR – A man was arrested on DUII and reckless driving charges following an incident on Harlow Road on January 14, according to the Eugene Police Department.
Police responded around 12:12 p.m. to reports of a vehicle partially on a curb near Waverly Street. Callers reported the vehicle was running, with the driver unconscious in the driver’s seat and the car still in drive.
Officers arrived and secured the vehicle before attempting to wake the driver, identified as a 31-year-old man. After eventually rousing him, officers determined he was impaired and took him into custody.
The suspect was arrested and charged with DUII-alcohol and reckless driving.
