Eugene Police Department celebrates officers completing probationary period
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department congratulated its newest officers for successfully completing their 18-month probationary period.
According to the department, the officers went through an extensive hiring process, followed by EPD’s 10-week internal police academy, the 20-week Department of Public Safety Standards and Training Academy, and a 20-week four-phase field training program before entering probation.
Officials said completing the probationary period is a significant milestone and expressed pride in the officers’ dedication and accomplishments.
