Eugene Police investigating series of residential burglaries possibly targeting safes, cash, jewelry, and high-end handbags
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Property Crimes Unit is investigating multiple residential burglaries that may be connected, with some victims reported to be members of the Asian community.
The first incident occurred earlier this month in the Laurel Hill area, followed by two additional incidents reported yesterday in the North River Road area.
Investigations are ongoing, and further details are not being released at this time.
Officers are closely monitoring the situation and collaborating with community partners and affected residents.
The department urges all residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
Residents are also advised to avoid keeping large amounts of cash and valuables at home, consider using financial institutions or safe deposit boxes for valuable items, and ensure expensive possessions are properly insured.
