Eugene Springfield Fire responded to vehicle fire after rollover crash

Eugene, OR — On July 9 at approximately 3:35 p.m., Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to a vehicle that had rolled onto its side and caught fire.
The occupant was able to escape the vehicle but sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital by medical personnel.
Oregon Department of Transportation quickly assisted by removing the vehicle from the roadway, allowing traffic to resume.
Springfield Police took command of the scene after fire crews cleared.
Authorities urged motorists to exercise caution while traveling through the area until all debris and vehicles were fully cleared.
