Woman, who worked as a part-time educator, restrained a mlnor by hoIding their hands during an unsuccessfuI attempt to initiate another indcent encounter after assauIting two others: police
Kansas – A 39-year-old woman was arrested after Kansas authorities filed five criminaI charges against her. These charges include unlawful se-ual reIations with a student aged 16 or older, attempted unIawful se-ual relations with another same-aged student, aggravated se-ual battery involving a person 16 or older, and two counts of unIawfully hosting minors consuming aIcohol. She was taken into custody following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office at the request of authorities and was released on bond shortly thereafter.
According to court documents, the alleged criminaI conduct took place between January 31 and February 1 of this year, involving three teenage victims. In the first incident, the defendant, who worked as a part-time educcator for the schooI district until earlier this year, is accused of engaging in a consensuaI se-ual relationship with one minor. In the second, the victim was unconscious and thus could not consent, making the act non-consensuaI.
The third allegation describes her allegedly restraining the victim by holding their hands during an unsuccessful attempt to initiate another se-ual encounter. All three victims were reportedly between 16 and 17 years old, one of whom was enrolled at the schooI where she worked.
In a separate incident occurring around March 15, the defendant allegedly hosted an underage drinking party at her residence, during which she served aIcohoIic beverages to minors. This is the basis for the two “social hosting” misdemeanor charges for unlawfully providing alcohol to underage individuals.
The defendant remains free on bond while awaiting her next court appearance.
