Eugene Police Department wraps up workplace violence prevention fair at PeaceHealth
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Police Department recently concluded a successful two-day Workplace Violence Prevention Fair at PeaceHealth, held in recognition of Workplace Violence Prevention Month.
The event brought together community partners to promote workplace safety and awareness.
At the fair, the Eugene Police Department displayed various teams, including the Community Engagement Team, Crisis Negotiation Team, and Community Service Officers.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about safety measures and how law enforcement contributes to workplace security.
A special tribute was given to Russ Boring, PeaceHealth’s head of security, who organized the event as part of his final farewell before retirement.
The Eugene Police Department expressed gratitude for his years of service and dedication to safety.
The fair underscored the importance of collaboration in preventing workplace violence and creating safer environments for all employees.
