Parks Volunteer Program and Eugene Metro Rotary host annual spring cleanup

Eugene, OR – The Parks Volunteer Program, in collaboration with Eugene Metro Rotary, will host its annual spring cleanup on Saturday, March 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Amazon Creek.
This ongoing partnership, which began in 2011, has led to more than 440 volunteer hours contributed and 34 cubic yards of trash removed from the important waterway.
The event welcomes volunteers of all experience levels, as all necessary tools and guidance will be provided.
Volunteers are asked to meet on the bike path along the creek near the Oakpatch Road bridge.
Those planning to participate are encouraged to RSVP by emailing [email protected] to ensure enough tools and supplies are available.
